This striped leopard was hand-carved and painted by Dek and her team of expert craftspeople in central Indonesia.
I saw this carving and thought, this would make an excellent lamp. Now this excellent carving of a leopard can light up a room in your life.
Lamp hardware was salvaged from a contemporary Ikea carcass, so it's got a nice Indo-Swedish vibe.
Note: According to legend, extended eye contact with the Machan may result in a cosmic curse of unspeakable nature. Couldn’t find anything on Wikipedia but probably not worth risking.
Also note: Green Machan comes with a quarter pound of delicious Salmon bacon from Shelky’s in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
